STC Units

STC HOME

An STC unit is a comprehensive package containing everything needed for a class of 30 students to cover a key science topic in about eight weeks. Each unit comes in one or more large, durable plastic containers with hinged, lockable lids. Components include:

Teacher's Guidecontaining a sequence of usually 16 lessons.
Student Activity Booksa set of 15 reusable books for grades 36. Optional, consumable Student Notebooks are available for grades 12.
Materialsall equipment required for the lessons except a few items commonly found at home or in the classroom.

Unit refurbishment sets are available to replenish materials typically used up during the course of a unit. Complete parts listings are also available, and items can be ordered separately.
