Netpath introduces a new way for our commercial customers to track the statistics of their web site! It's called Web Trends and it has the ability to show you stats for the number of people that have seen your site within a specified period of time. It can break down the stats into the number of hits on each page in your site and also show you the top domains, top address and much more. This report is customizable for your specific needs and offers several built-in page layouts, so you can have a different look for each type of report that you want run. So fill out the WebTrends Registration form to begin receiving your very own WebTrend report online. You may request that more than one type of reporting be generated for your domain. Each report is billed seperately at a charge of $2 per run and an initial setup fee of $25 per requested report. After the report has been setup and approved by the customer, additional changes to the report are billed at our normal web developement rate of $50 per hour.


The following is a list of features that WebTrends offers (all options may not be available in each package):

General Statistics

This section tells you where you vistors come from geographically, helping you determine what percentage of your users are domestic or international. The location of the user is determined by the suffix of the domain name (.com, .net, .org, .edu, etc...). This section also shows the number of hits for the homepage on your site (not including graphics) and the number of hits for the entire site (including graphics, script and forms).

Most/Least Requested Pages

This section shows the most popular and least popular page within your web site. This can help in determining which pages are viewed the most for advertising, billing, promotional or design purposes. These counts only reflect actual HTML pages (no graphics are counted).

Top Entry/Exit and Single Access Pages

This section shows the pages that your visitors first see when entering your site and last view before leaving and also the pages with the most single accesses (only hit that page and then left the site). This may help in determining where your web page rank with different search engine. Normally people would see your opening page first, but if a search engine or other link is pointing directly at pages in your site, this may show which are at the top.

Activity Levels by Day of the Week and Hour of the Day

This section shows when your site is most often hit and give a break down by Day of the Week and a separate chart for Hour of the Day.

Client / Server Errors

This will show failed attempts on loading your web site and whether they came from the Client (person trying to reach the site) or the Server (where the web page resides).

Top Referring Sites and URL's

These sections can help you identify other sites with links to your site and shows you a list of their web pages.

Bandwidth Stats

Your bandwidth requirements is the volume of kilobytes transferred during a period of time. Netpath does not charge based on bandwidth used, but several other prominent ISP's do.
