Modem Detection

        How to detect what brand modem you have:

Windows
95/98/NT 4.0
  1. Click Start
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. Double Click on Modems
  5. Your modem is listed in the white box at the top of the window.
    Please specify everything it says in this box.
Mac OS
  1. Click Apple Menu
  2. Click Control Panel
  3. Click on Modems
  4. Your modem is listed in the grey pull down menu.
